Registration Reminders
-
When registering for your Praxis, please be sure to include your social security number because that is how the New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) will track your scores.
-
Failure to include your correct social security number can delay the receipt of your scores and will cause you to incur an extra cost.
-
Follow the directions linked HERE to complete your registration.
GPA Flexibility
-
If you have an undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, you are eligible for NJ DOE's Praxis score flexibility, which means they will accept a score 5% lower than the posted passing score. Please click here for more details.

You should send your score report to the following:

Praxis Core Exemption
-
All candidates seeking certification in the state of New Jersey are now required to take the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Test.
-
Candidates, however, may qualify for an exemption, depending on their SAT, ACT, or GRE scores. You can find more information regarding this exemption here: Accepted Scores for Exemption. If you do qualify for the exemption, please email a PDF for your scores to Jenna, and she will get back to you with additional instructions.

Wikipedia: https://www.wikipedia.org/

Although generally criticized as not being a reliable source for academia, Wikipedia is a great supplementary study resource for the Praxis. Wikipedia is a tool you can use to get a general understanding of a particular subject (i.e. U.S. History). Furthermore, most Wikipedia pages have links to additional information throughout the page so that you can easily pursue further review.
